The top-of-the-range models within the 911 lineup – the 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S – now offer a sharper design, further enhanced features and 20 hp more than the previous models. Performance and handling profit from innovative solutions such as the new Dynamic Boost function and the Sport Chrono Package which are now standard on all 911 Turbo variants, significantly improving responsiveness. The models are on sale now and are available as Coupe and Cabriolet versions.

Engine 3.8-liter flat six-cylinder engine with twin-turbo chargers and variable turbine geometry. Each model has 20 hp more: the new 911 Turbo now makes 540 hp while the output of the 911 Turbo S has increased to 580 hp as a result of new turbochargers with a larger impellers.The new Dynamic Boost function maintains boost pressure during load changes, which improves throttle response.

Performance For the best possible intermediate acceleration, the Sport Chrono Package comes with four programs and the Sport Response button as a standard option. Acceleration is stronger than ever before: the 911 Turbo Coupe sprints from zero to 60 miles per hour in 2.9 seconds, and the 911 Turbo S in 2.8 seconds — each is 0.1 seconds faster than the previous model. The Cabriolet variants need just 0.1 second more than the coupes to reach 60 mph. Top track speeds are higher as well reaching speeds of 205 miles per hour for the 911 Turbo S (7 mph faster than before) and 198 miles per hour for the 911 Turbo (3 mph faster).

Efficiency The 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo models are rated at 19 mpg city/24 mpg highway/ 21 mpg combined according to the EPA. This represents a 2 mpg improvement in the city and combined cycle compared to the previous version.

Chassis Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) chassis offers an even greater spread between agile handling and ride comfort. The new automatic post-collision braking system and rear axle steering are standard features. An optional front axle lift system, which is operational at lower speeds, offers about 1.5 inches of ground clearance at the front spoiler lip for increased clearance on driveways, speedbumps or other obstacles. Additionally, the top model 911 Turbo S has Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) roll compensation and the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system as standard features. They are optional on the 911 Turbo.

Infotainment The new Porsche Communication Management system with online navigation and a state-of-the-art touchscreen is as easy to operate as a smartphone. Online capability has been improved to include real-time traffic information, Google Earth and Google Street View. The system can be readily paired with a smartphone, providing access to many more apps.

Pricing & availability The new 2017 911 Turbo Coupe starts at $159,200. The 911 Turbo S Coupe costs $188,100. The Cabriolet models have an MSRP of $171,500 and $200,400, respectively. These prices do not include a $1,050 destination charge. All 911 Turbo models are on sale now.

The Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S both gain an additional 20 hp thanks to new turbochargers with larger impellers. The added power contributes to some exceptional performance numbers, including 0-60 mph times of 2.9 & 2.8 seconds for the 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S respectively. Top speed has been increased as well, with 198 mph for the 911 Turbo (3 mph improvement) and 205 mph for the 911 Turbo S (7 mph improvement).

The new Turbos feature active aerodynamics, first introduced in the previous generation. While many cars utilize active aerodynamics with the rear wing, Porsche has a similar functionality with the front spoiler that can be extended in several stages. Both the front spoiler and rear wing are retracted in everyday driving, which also increases ground clearance in the front. When the car reaches 75 mph, the two outer segments of the three part front spoiler are extended, and the rear wing is extended one inch upward. These changes can also be made at the touch of a button, when the car is driving in Sport Plus Mode.

Also carried over from the previous generation is rear axle steering. Below 31 mph, the front and rear wheels turn in opposite directions, giving them a tight turning circle. Above 50 mph, the front and rear wheels turn in the same direction, effectively lengthening the car's wheelbase for greater stability. Steering response is improved, and less stress is placed on the chassis.

Non, non...  le bon 3.8L qui va bien...  et qui est encore sur la phase 2, sauf erreur de ma part.

Le 3L, c'est juste sur les Carrera phase 2.

La GT2, c'est le 3.6L , oui?  Le fidèle 964 GT1 si je ne m'abuse. Un moteur incassable...
